[A couple of things...] This is why my work place is put on the low. It turns out someone in the office was complaining about the level of "witty banter" that goes in among us co-workers. Which I thought sucks. Freakin' A dude... this place is so quiet (and even that is an understatement) so when we get going with jokes and stories while we're working... we get going! Hehe... but anyway I guess she was voicing her concern about the volume... and well I guess it's easier to control the newbies rather then control the person who's been here longer. I ain't trippin' but I know she was talking specifically about me and my corner. I can't help it if I'm the hitmaker! hehe... but yea... I thought that sucked. Why should we tip toe around for another person. I freakin sit near the ED and she hasn't complained about me and the noise at all. WTF? Bullshit I tell you. I ain't trippin' though. Now I realize that this co-worker is a lost cause. So much for being nice =/ hehe I ain't gonna be mean but no courtsey conversations for her man! She probably doesn't want them from me *sniff sniff* =) So as you know, I've been advocating the KDAY station that debuted a couple of months ago on 93.5. I really thing it plays a decent mix of everything I listen to. Anyway, when of their slogans is the original KDAY programing and well I guess Power106 retaliated and was able to get Greg Mack and Tony G (popular KDAY peeps back in the day) to do a show on Sunday Night. Meanwhile on the other side of the stations, KDAY was able to get Julio G and DJ Melo D to come back on the radio (ya'll probably know them for their stint on 92.3 the beat and how they left (or were asked to leave?) when the beat turned to 100.3) Julio G and DJ Melo D were also KDAY jocks back in the day before the beat. Makes me wonder who's right. Greg Mack and Tony G were on Big Boy's morning show earlier and they were talking about how they were going to bring original KDAY programing to Power 106. You think power's ratings have dropped since KDAY debut? Maybe they felt the need to get the people who were doubting them or turning to KDAY for hip hop that in the midst of all the jiggy yeeeeahh Lil Jon shit and their forever West Coast programing that perhaps doing this would get back all the people who leave the station on KDAY these days. Of course I missed the glory days of KDAY but it just makes me wonder... because you know me I like talking about hip hop and radio and all that stuff hehe. Today's start isn't as bad as the last couple days thank goodness... then again I may have spoke too soon =/
